Another ferry journey today, they are fairly comfortable things. Wasn't full which was great as we could then get a row to ourselves to spread out. Ferry to Koh Lanta was around 6 hours, so a defiant toilet trip was needed. I've discovered I can now pee pretty much anywhere.

Long journeys like these are a great time to think. Traveling is way busier than I imagined it to be and you're constantly with people so you never really get time to think about anything. It's not that I feel I'm partially lazy back home, but I've been reminded of my thirst for life and realised all the things I want to do/get into when I get back. So I've started to write an official bucket list, rather than just one in my head. Fun times!

So we arrived on koh lanta and was hounded by taxis. After paying WAY too much for one (lesson learnt) we arrived at our hotel, Lanta Nature Beach Resort. It's more than half the price as the one on Koh Lipe and has a dressing table, a mirror and more importantly a sheet! It's only meant to be for two so we are all sharing the bed again. Its got a very nice pool too.

Staying in the area of Klong Nin, it's a little way out from the main bit called Long Beach. Got lots of exploring to do.

Sam and Lindsey are staying here too so all we ate at the hotel last night, which is right on the beach. Beautiful with lots of candles and fire shows, was a great evening. Sat at the beach bar for a few afterwards and got to play DJs, plugging our phones into the sound system, was great fun. Then we had a go at the fire dancing, minus the fire of course. It's a lot harder than it looks.

Off to bed now though. Looking forward to tomorrow.
