Day 1 Very easy and scenic cycling to Penzance. We were very excited at the prospect of our adventure! The views of St Michael's Mount were stunning as we cycled around the bay. The old Victorian lido looked grand with it's flags flying. Then on through little Cornish villages with colourful cottages. Ready to go! Looking forward to exploring England by bicycle. Have an excellent cicerone guide of the cycle by Nick Mitchell. We are going to follow his route with a few minor adjustments. Map reading should be made very easy because we are using a sat nav for bicycle that beeps loudly with any inadvertant deviation off course.
