Sad to leave the beautiful Lake District behind even if it did take quite a lot of effort cycling up the side of Skiddaw. Met a cyclist with one arm on the road out of Keswick. Great supper last night with Anne and Brian who very kindly took us away from the side of the motorway to a pretty country pub. Great to see them. Runcorn is not actually that unpleasant. In the sunshine. Last night we had a great meal with Mum and Dad and also Lucy and David Pulford joined us. Lucy is planning to so the cycle with her electric bicycle sometime. It was lovely to see them. Today got off to a fine start with baked eggs, tomatoes and cream and a bit of porridge.
