OK, so I figured I should probably get started on my blog and let everyone know that it exists, as tomorrow (or today - its gone midnight so technically its 29th!!) I am going to be mega mega stressy and busy trying to pack and sort all my stuff. As usual and much to my mothers stress and dismay, I am last minuet as usual. This means that I've not done half the things I need to, I've not even attepted to pack my backpack, and Im just generally unorganised. But, as they say on the advert 'Thats just me!'

I still cant believe that I'm going to Kenya. To Africa! I'm excited, but I'm really nervous! Im sure once I get there I will love it tho! I'll arrive at about 7am and get picked up from the airport by someone from the Fadhilli Community NGO that I will be working with, and then go to a host family for the night before going to my orientation day on the 1st to get details of my placement. Im excited about my placements, Women's Education and HIV/Aids awareness. Im hoping that I will be able to be helpfull to the communitys in some small way, but its also going to be a huge education for me as well.

So....the next time I update i will be in Kenya! Whoop!
