You may as well forget about tampons ever existing because you will no longer find them anywhere.

All you will find is pads, a whole entire isle dedicated to PADS. Ugh!

There is an alternative I researched before I left home; It's called the Diva Cup... I have it in my backpack 'just incase' but I haven't tried it yet so I won't say anything about it yet. I just hope I brought enough tampons.

Birth control-

I have an implant in my arm (Nexaplanon) that lasts up to 3yrs. So when I do get a period it's extremely light and only lasts a day or 2.

Just remember things about birth control like if it needs to be refrigerated like the Nuva Ring you can't bring it when your backpacking. If your on the pill can you be stocked up enough to last your entire duration of traveling?

Just something I didn't think about until the last minute.
