Hostel number 2: Avalon house.ie in Dublin
Small room, two bunk beds between us, with a sink in the room!
Communal showers and toilets. Shower blocks so small I can hardly turn around. The shower has no hot or cold, just a button. Which runs for about 30 seconds. Flactuates between hot and cold.
The internet didnt like me. Wireless through out the hostel that liked to tease my phone by randomly connecting. But it was okay there were 6 communal computers. Pity they didnt like me either. Programed to restart every 20 minutes to promote equality and fair use, they decided to kick me off every 5 minutes.
Hostel number 3: Neptunes in Killarney
Eight girls, 4 bunk beds. Our own personal shower and toilet. In a little bathroom attached rather than a random basin on the side of the wall.
The shower however, is trying to kill me. Once again a timed-no-choice-in-tempature button however this shower tried to give us all 3 degree burns. Ive never felt so short as I am standing in this shower. The shower head is located high enough that 1.5 of me can fit underneath.
Internet in the small common room only. One shared computer. Can't get a break.
Hostel 4: Rowan Tree in Enis
Twelve people in one mixed room, one toilet, one shower. Oh... Dear.
There is one hot tap... And one cold... What?

Lisa Bron, I am so enjoying reading this! Reminds me of my travels. Have I ever told you of the numerous times I was locked in bathrooms in Europe? So scary! In London the door handle fell off (!) in the shower and I was semi-naked and trapped!
