They have radically changed the pool area here, improved it. Well improved the possibility of taking more money and reduced the possibility of families bringing their cool boxes in and eating their own food!
Hardly anywhere to sit.... Seating area 1: now Starbucks, seating area 2: family cabana available to hire for £40 for 3 hours, seating area 3: new water ride (actually don't mind that lol)
Seating area 4: larger cabanas! Seating area 5: security lockers for you to keep your wallet to hand while in the subtropical pool area!
Now there are 5 of us, all shapes and sizes,ages and hair colours, not such a large family (and we don't have a cool box) it was very difficult to find seats to place our towels on. This was made even more difficult due to the people quickly rushing a towel over the back of any spare chairs near their chosen seats as they notice us coming towards them! We must have tried 3 times to sit but were foiled on each occasion by a lone granny minding towels or a new mum cradling baby who should quite frankly be tucked up somewhere less humid and noisy! We also noticed that whole families actually blocked spare seats in opposite their own area so no one could get to them! Effectively creating a kind of windbreak out of plastic chairs. Humans are so strange when it comes to car parking and swimming pool behaviour!

We created our own seating area from the few chairs we could get access to, made a little crescent shape that was sealed off by a high chair, placed towels over them to signal that at these chairs are occupied and no we don't want anyone else breathing near our family let alone sit next to us! And headed off into the pool.
I don't blame human nature, rather I blame our hosts in their attempt to take more money they have brought out the worst in human nature.
