Lima arhhh lovely Miraflores...

We had arranged via the great TA for a nice looking hotel in Miraflores and for once it was very nice. They sent a car for us at the airport, thus avoiding any kidnap scenarios. However some how get thw feeling they are cracking down in the is area..

The nice morice, was at arrivals with a sign, so we duly followed him to the car park (yes we double checked he was who he said) and got into the car, he literally reversed out the space and a police man pulled him over, made him get out the car, get his papers and they argued for 15 minutes, whilst Steve and i just sat though going uh uh.

Finally after we corroperated what he said about the hotel arrangements etc he let us go, Steve was huffing and puffing about the delay, but it made me feel alot safer.

Hotel was lovely. so we dumped luggage and went for a walk along the shore line to Lacomnar mall, set in the cliffs. Had dinner in a diner place (great ribs) and took a leisurly stroll back to teh hotel and had an early night.
