Glad you guys are feeling better, nothing worse than being couped up in a hostel and missing out!!!
I loved Iguazu too. There was a strike and a blockade when I went. Nobody would let us through and we were stuck for 3 days before we got to see the falls. We stormed the barrier because my mate was South American and pulled a few tricks. It was a great adventure.

Right guys get yourselves off to Los Club Democraticus for some live samba bands, boogying and capirinhas!!! That will kill any bugs in the tummy. This club is in Lapa and is heaving of a night although somewhere to avoid in the day. There are street parties of a weekend. Lapa is just down the road from you and we went to this club 3 times. Everything gets going late so don´t go too early. A classy area full of locals about 15 mins cab ride from Leblon is called Baxio Gavea pronounced Baiju Gavea. This is a food and drink area, great for chilling out with the locals. We went here loads with Claudia our local pal. There is also a club called 00 in Leblon. Some classy joints in Leblon if you can find them.
Well have fun and let me know if you want any more tips.
Merry Xmas - ho ho ho

Thank you for your work bringing it all up to date. Just to make you feel even better, the weather forecast for this weekend is poor - high winds and posssibly snow. When you finish I suggest you go around again.

Hey guys
it is bloody great reading your blog. Brings back memories.
Lovin'the spider!!! He He.
Have you noticed that the pedestrian crossings take about an hour to change. So much of an Australian life wasted!
Get some spas in when in New Zealand. We hired a car and drove around. Brill.
I am off to Farmagedon with Glen etc tonight. I will let him know how you are getting on.
By the way I had heard about the sculpture exhibition. Jealous.
Did you meet Jimmy who lives in the cave? He invited Kellyann and I in for a drink and then gave us a hug. Yuk. Covered in baby oil and like stig of the dump.
Petra
Hi There,
Sounds like you are both having such an amazing experience loved the blog posts. The place in Byron Bay sounded so funny with the creepy crawlies I could have only imagined what it was like. I am so jealous what an experience and will be a regular in your blog post reviews.
Sorry not been in touch got sent to Shanghai and just got back...well work is work, mad out there though they scooter onthe pavements and wear no crash helmets and drive through green lights for pedestrian crossings...all a bit mad....very severe language barrier though...not good if you cannot speak the lingo.
Anyway have a very cool day and look forward to ready ing your next blog. Nick says hi
