Second day in HK, overcast and rainy, thypoon on way, fingers crossed it will hit Monday after we leave for singapore.
Have hopefully overcome jet lag now as we didnt surface till 10am HK time this morning. Went to central for breakfast (Jaspers would recommend) then headed up to the peak for a view of HK. Five minutes trip in cab to shopping mall (my god nevcer seen so many shops in one city) and then you to terrace for 360 view of the city. Its propably fabulous but litte mared by the fact it was covered in smog and we could harly make out anything through the haze.
Got the tram down, through the mountain which is nice if a little hairy as the incline is ridiculous. Then jumped a cab to another shopping centre (2paradice centre) the poshest place i've ever been never seen so many labels in one place, as it was chucking it down. So Petra and I checked out a few designer bags, so we spot the good fake ones tomorrow when we go over the water (or as petra calls it "the darkside" ) to buy the hooky handbags.
As it continued to bucket it down we saked off trip to Stanley and went for a thail massage. OWWWW Petra told them to go easy on me if that was easy I'm a biddhist monk! You wouldnt thought a small 6 stone girl could inflict so much pain i was crying at on point and grinding me teeth to stop from screaming, determined to be see it out! Supposed to be going back tomorrow no chance!
Headed out for dinner bout six and had a walk through the red light district, pretty tame by even Londons standard. Had loveley mexican and a few margaritas and are now sitting in the flat typing this and having a few more drinks.
Heading out to Koowloom (Monkok market) erly doors to try and beat the rain and aquire a few handbags (m&d - you will haev to transport back for me as have realised i amy of over packed, as the packpack is rather heavy!)
