The dreaded day is finally upon us - the last effective day and night in Japan. We however held our spirits together and made sure the day was going to be spent as wisely as possible. As per discussed last night, the first task of the day will be to grab all the souvenirs and foodstuffs from Asakusa itself first thing in the morning and then return to our rooms to leave the stuffs there before continuing our day. Last night we talked about it, and agreed that whoever woke up first will turn on the lights to wake the rest up. Turns out that I regained consciousness before everyone else and so I switched on the lights which was at the wall my bed was at anyway. And heck! No one bothers to wake up. June's alarm went off but she neutralised it in no time! LOL. Sensing I was alone, I went back to sleep for a while more. Not as if I wasn't tired. LOL. Slowly one by one started ...

We had a good night sleep in Sakura Hostel, so good that everyone had a hard time waking up as we all soon found out in the days to come. It caught us by surprise that we all found it so difficult to wake up. Perhaps the fact that we are no longer "Paiseh" by waking up late in our host's place revealed our true habits. Without a doubt, this was a day of goodbyes and farewells. I had to wake up very early, the earliest, in fact, out of my ten nights there. There was no choice since I had a plane to catch.
