We've decided it's best to cut our trip down a bit which is very sad but we sort of have to do it. I haven't asked for any money so far in our trip and we've been lucky that people we've met have offered us accommodation. I've made it this far on my own it would be a shame to ask for money now I'd much rather cut it down by a couple of weeks and really enjoy the next few.
Right so I think I left you guys when I was just about to leave Melbourne. Once we arrived in Sydney we headed to Bondi beach (very famous), which really was a lovely place with a great atmosphere. Whilst we were at Bondi we planned what we were going to do in New Zealand. The next day we headed to Beau's house a friend of Shane's who offered to put us up for a few night. Wow- what an apartment. I thought Shane's house was clean and well decorated for a guy, well Beau's completely blew me away. It was spotless. Emma and I spent three days there tiptoeing about!! I think that the sheets on our bed were brand new- silky pink and blue with Geisha's on them. Really nice guy. Me and Emma both had plenty of baths while we were there! Our first two days in Sydney we checked out the harbour, the bridge and the opera house. All are breath taking. We watched street performers… I don't know why I never thought to go and watch street performers before… hours of free entertainment… me and Emma pretty much set up camp! We got a day tripper pass and went around Sydney by ferry, we went to Manly, Darling Harbour and then Chinatown for dinner!
On our last day in Australia we decided to do something special. We got tickets to go to Blue Mountain- wow! Once we were there we did a few walks and hopped on and off the explorer bus. The exercise made us feel so good and the views were amazing. A lovely last day in Oz.
Arrived in New Zealand, Christchurch on the 26th. And we ate our first Indian dinner since India. The topic of food poisoning was banned from conversation over the meal… but we both enjoyed it very much and since then I've eaten Indian again. I was scared I would never eat it again in my whole life! Christchurch was quite nice, some cool bars but nothing that special about it. After a day wandering around Christchurch and booking coaches and trips for the next week we headed to Queenstown. It was a really long coach journey and Emma felt sick so I gave her a couple of my sickness tablets. When I brought the sickness tablets I was warned about drowsiness but I bought them anyway. I think they're way stronger than I ever thought they could be. After one you fall instantly asleep after two you're pretty much unconscious for the rest of the day. It was so funny watching Emma next to me on the coach with her head lolling from side to side fast fast asleep!! At least she wasn't sick! We stopped at Lake Wanaka on the way which was beautiful.
The next day we went on a Milford sound trip. Milford Sound is in the top 5 things to do in the world… apparently. Actual Milford Sound is wonderful, doing it as a trip with lots of other tourist and travellers not so wonderful. We went on a cruise all around the Sound and had a buffet lunch and then went to an underwater observatory. Fun day, with really nice scenery throughout.
I'd never seen snow capped mountains before I came here. But even so I'm not someone who's too fond of the cold so Emma left yesterday morning for a 4 day trip to climb an ice mountain or something. Personally im more than happy to stay in Queenstown and use up my energy keeping warm! Saying that yesterday I made a friend who interrupted my day which included plans of keeping warm and he made me go on a 4 hour hike up a mountain. However all the pain it took getting up the mountain was forgotten about when I saw view. Today I'm aching like hell though…
It's strange being without Emma but at the same time it's really nice to be able to do things at completely my own pace. There's plenty to do in Queenstown and there's a winter festival going on at the moment which keeps me entertained!

Akhileshwar There's so many, all for different reaosns! As far as brands of hotels, I LOVE the Loews Hotels, W Hotels, Waldorf=Astoria Collection, and Ritz Carlton brands. I also really like may of the hotels not associated with these brands in Las Vegas.
