Today we say good bye to Cold Lake and the newlyweds and start the long journey home. Got the Motorhome all cleaned up and stabilized the interior for the bumpy roads and bid farewell. We were on the road by noon heading for Wakaw, Saskatchewan to spend the night at a older friend of Paul's. his name is Gord and he is 82 years old. He used to be one of Paul's neighbours and moved out here 4 years ago to live with his son. We wanted to take our time a bit on the way home to be able to stop if we wanted to look at something. We stopped at a yard full of old cars. Both guys were salivating at all the cars this guy had. We are going back with an empty trailer and that speaks trouble. We met a couple who were so nice and welcoming. He is 82 and she is almost 80. You would never know it to look at them. I would have put her at late 60's. We had a good chat with them and they even offered us to stay in their yard for the night. Very kind considering they didn't know us. But we pushed on. We soon realized that if we kept on going to Gord's, we would get in late so we decided to stop in Prince Albert at...you guessed it, Camp Walmart. The choices of places to eat was minimal so we ended up getting Little Caesars pizza and took it to the Motorhome. It was nice to flip on the TV and wind down a bit. I worked on wedding pictures. Slept like a rock.
