Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea Temperature : 30-32 °C, sunny, rainy, stormy, but most of all very WAVEY... Wildlife : Sharks, Octopus, thousands of reef fish and corals, manta rays, moray eels, bioluminescent plankton, stingers Highlights : Extreme diving, diving in the pitch black (night dives), Steve acquiring Advanced Diver cert., Fantastic meals, first-class (ex-tuna fishing) diving vessel, Being dropped in the middle of the ocean by dingy (off the main ship)...felt like a scene out of "open water"... Disappointments : Susanne's extreme battle with the rough seas, Amazing she survived 5 days on 2 pieces of toast. Other : Steve : How are you feeling? Susanne : Don't ask me that stupid question, I HATE YOU (for the 5 day commitment to the big bad ocean)...We still love each other though... Thoughts : Whitsunday Sailing isn't far away...muah ah ah ah....
