Today was our last day in NYC. Michael decided he would have a quiet morning and we would meet later on at TGI Fridays.
I left the hotel at about 10.30am to head to 5th Avenue and the mecca - Tiffany. I weaved my way through the streets, crossing over parks, streets and avenues so that I could wander along 5th.
The shops on 5th Ave are high fashion and even with the Aussie dollar so good against the grrenback, still very expensive. I had set myself a goal that I would buy my self a gift at Tiffany's and that's what I did. I brought a small "Tiffany Notes" ring that wasn't too expensive.
After this I rushed to meet Michael for lunch and a final walk around the streets before we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the night's adventure - a Yankees game.
We made our way to the game on the subway which was quick and efficient. The game was really good, with a few home runs hit, lots of strike outs and lots of good skills shown.
Unfortunately the Yankees lost to Tampa Bay 6-4. Tampa Bay were just too good, getting three home runs in one innings that set the win up for them.
After the match we headed back to the hotel to get ready for our departure on Saturday morning to St Louis.
