Hi everybody!

Last day in Australia today! Mixed feelings.

Was almost balling to mum and dad yday about what on earth I'm gonna do when I get home. I have been waiting for this lightening to strike and everything to be sorted and nothing had struck but then just�today I was offered a job (well,kind of. very informally) here in Sydney in one of the local travel agents but I�have not got a visa or anything and am off to New Zealand tomorrow. Told the lady that I plan to come back to Aus really soon so she even gave me a card and told me to give her a call. She said if she not working in Sydney office anymore. Try the Melbourne office. Am tempted to go back to her later and have a little chat but can I really imagine living here all on my own? And the longest I can probably get a visa for one job is six months so think I will�just keep it in mind for when I get home, I guess. Very flattered to be offered one just like that though. My head barely fits under the Harbour Bridge at the mo!

Was going to Bondi today but after a week of no rain(can you believe it?), it has suddenly started pelting down so had to give it a miss.

There is a competition on the 7/7/7, between the 7 wonders across the world, to vote for the best so obviously lots of signs here to vote opera house in etc. As coo' as it is, it probably ain't the mst wonderful thing in the world but if you take in to account Aus as a whole then it might just get my vote.
