After a night on the ferry, we arrived in Cork. Not a heck of a lot to do in Cork city but as we had booked accomodation, we had a look around. The hostel was really nice and the city was between two rivers. We found a small micro-brewery where we tried six of their beers, then we went off to a traditional pub for a pint. We arrived in London on Wednesday night and spent the next two days exploring. On Thursday we joined a free tour where we saw Buckingham Palace, changing of the guard, Westminster Abbey and Parliament. We then walked along the Thames to the Tower Bridge. Quick update to let you know we have arrived safe and sound in London, far away from riots so far. Yesterday was a very long day - we spent the morning wandering around Moscow before taking the tube and express train to the airport. We then had a two hour wait at Copenhagen and discovered that Denmark does not have a duty free agreement with Russia the hard way. After five days on the train, we have arrived safely in Moscow. We spend the night here, then fly to London tomorrow. The train trip was actually really interesting and the scenery was amazing. After a night on the train we arrived in Holhot where we had to spend the day. Pretty boring place to stop but we found some shopping centres to look around and got some groceries. We also came across what seemed like a locals-only market (kept getting evil stares) but was quite interesting.
