The sleeper train cabin to Hamburg was tiny with six people on bunks. We made small talk with two other kiwis in our cabin but all there really was to do was sleep. The train arrived in Hamburg at 4am so we purposely stayed on later to get a bit of extra sleep. We got off at a later station and caught another train back to Hamburg, arriving about 8am. We arrived in Amsterdam to a pokey little hostel but at least it was a bed for the night. The streets were pretty crowded with tourists. We wandered the streets, seeing Anne Franks house and some cool shops. Went to a dolphin-themed coffee shop where we had a hot chocolate and shared a joint (had to be done!). Our mini holiday in Cambrils was nice. We went for a couple of runs and swims, as well as a bit of shopping and relaxing. The train to Paris was nice but the weather not so much. After a few quiet days in Diss, it was Saturday and time to fly to Madrid, Spain. Jesse met us at the airport and we made our way back to his place via several trains and a metro ride. Since we last blogged, we have adventured our way down from Scotland through England to the town of Diss. We are visting Brenda's cousin Mark and his lovely new wife Iwona, who are kindly letting us stay with them.
