Landed in Singapore airport at about 10.30 this morning. I was overjoyed to feel that exciting whoosh of warm air as I walked off the plane after my short stop over at Kuala Lumpur. And the pilot reiterated this as we landed and said that the weather was clear and 30 degrees. The only downside being that I didn't sleep a wink on the plane so by the time I got to my hostel I could barely keep my eyes open. After a quick change into my shorts I went and got a prepaid SIM card from the 7/11. I texted my mum to let her know I was here and quickly fell asleep.

Woke up at about 7. Showered and went outside to find it had just started spitting with rain, and within seconds I was in the middle of a tropical storm on the way to get some dinner. The lightening looked great over Clarke Quay. And illuminated all the little boats on the river. Everyone had come out of the shopping centre to watch the show.

It's now about half 9 and I'm still knackerd. So I think it's going to be a night in for me.
