Soooo.... following on from where we left off, rather delayed im afraid as we havent been near the internet much recently. After getting viciously attacked by our little friends the white devils we headed back to the hostel and got ready for the evenings organised activity, which was to head to the world bar. The evening started when a 'party bus' pulled up outside the hostel which can only really be described as a bus full of rowdy drunkards some dressed as woman (the men that is). This was because girls got a free glass of champagne, which disappointed me (nik) as i wasn't told before hand hehe. Anyway the bar turned out to be possibly one of the strangest bar experiences, we ended up drinking cocktails out of teapots whilst listening to some strange mix of dance, reggae and hip hop, or at least i think thats what it was!
The next day after missing the blue mountains tour we decided to go up the Sydney tower which was pretty amazing and gave some great views of Sydney and the harbour. We then went on a 3 hour tour around the massive Sydney harbour where Sammy got slightly trigger happy with the old camera as you can probably tell! Despite the slighly sketchy weather we saw lots so it was deffiantly well worth doing.
After missing the blue mountains tour on Thursday we then got the chance to do it on Friday. This time we made sure we left plenty of time to get there early! After a quick brekky we got on a small bus with lots of other people from around the world and got introduced to our pretty wild tour guide who pretty much liked talking about beer, sex and more beer! She (yes she was a girl :S) loved the fact Sammy lives on the isle of wight as she'd never met anyone from the isle of wight before so that gave us a few laughs. After about a 2 hour drive we finally made it to the beautiful blue mountains, which certainly were very blue and just looked amazing! Theres no way we can really describe it but the photo's explain it all. It certainly was an amazing day and we decided it was a good thing we missed the bus the day before as the weather was great! =D
On the 23th we then headed to the bus station for the first leg of our trip up the east coast onto Coffs harbour..
