We were all up bright and early! We left to get the ferry to Taronga Zoo! There were some beautiful views of Sydney city from the top of the hill that the zoo was on. The zoo was huge - it is broken into sections (Asia, Africa, Australia and Oceana) We saw lots of animals that we had not seen before! We had a Koala encounter getting to go into a private part and have photos taken with 2 koalas! The kangaroos were lovely - although Luke later ate some at the bbq! I tried my best to stay clear of the birds which were openly walking around everywhere! Joe & Ollie showed Luke how to trick an emu into thinking you are a bigger emu by raising your arm which was quite funny! We took some great photos and had a really nice day! We got a cable car down the hill back to the ferry and went back to the hostel. We then went to the rooftop bbq which was $5 each! Luke said that kangaroo was like tender beef. Our views of the bridge and opera house were fantastic from the hostel roof top! We were very lucky!
