We had an extremely early rise today, in order to make trains to get the the Blue Mountains. It is the same distance from Leicester to Leeds but its still classified as Sydney! We had brought a day pass for a hop on hop off bus with 29 stops. The views were amazing - so big and beautiful. We realised how easy it would be for people to get lost which many have, Views went on for miles as its so big, together there are 4 national parks. The people were rather hilly billy like in my opinion and Ollie reminded me we were in a mountain range. We saw the katoonga and gordon falls, saw the 3 sisters from various views including echo point. The story behind the 3 sisters is an aboriginal story. In short, 3 sisters were running from 3 men. They asked a sorcerer to help them by turning them into rocks, he did that and the men eventually stopped chasing them. When they had stopped the sorcerer was no longer alive to turn them back. I find this quite a sad story! We saw aborigine man playing a didgeridoo and had our lunch. Ollie did a wonderful job of navigating us around as most people just take the expensive tours! We got back and changed and then went to Darling harbor to a restaurant called the blackbird which was great! The harbor was buzzing, lively, really lit up and we both loved it!
