well we did hire the motor boat on monday and it was wicked soooo funny. we all had a go of driving it and we were quite good actually we didnt crash once! theres kind of roads in the middle of the river and you have to go in and out of the flags so that you dont go too close to the shore or the sand banks, bit of a task. and it was ace for sunbathing on and when we got to a particualarly nice bit of a beach we threw the anchor down and i had a swim and we had our little packed lunch haha it was a really nice day and then we sat by the river with the goon (wine) and chilled all afternoon. i love noosa its so chilled and every1 is so rich the houses r awesome to look at!

yesterday we had a beach day, it was sooooo hot and the waves were huge so i had to go in to cool off and jump them otherwise theyd knock you right over!! very good day for surfing if your good at it. we might do some surfing where there is little waves i think haha cheap lessons in town of 1770 apparently. last night we had a mammoth game of cards and watched some tele. we have done lots of chilling here which has been nice. its really laidback.

today we met chimmy cos hes just arrived here and we sat on the beach with these lovely 'boost' smoothies that we cant stop buying haha addiction, big time. we did all our errands such as shopping and post office and booking buses etc and then tonight we took a box of goon down to the river with the ipod speakers and bought some fish and chips. it was a really good evening and sooo warm we were all cosy sat on a little picnic table by the sand! there was loads of people sat out drinking by the river mostly older people it was well sweet.

we have an early morning tomorrow to get the bus to rainbow beach and have our fraser island briefing at 1.30 and then on friday we shall be packing up the 4wd with the tents and food and going off to explore the island for 2 days, should be an adventure to say the least! hoping i get to do some driving cos im missing it lots and its wicked driving on sand across an island! so its all good, a few more adventures in oz yet before we move on to new zealand!
