Sallys Worldwide Adventure
I got to Koh Tao on 2 May and stayed in an area called Surat Thani. I learnt to dive with Bans Diving Resort, who were absolutly brilliant, I find it hard to imagine that there would be a better diving school around!!
Took a ferry over and met the Bans reprosentative on the ferry. He was a really nice guy not hassling and in your face like the rest of them, so decided to go with him. And so glad I did.
I dit the open water course which is a 4 day course and then went on to do the advanced which was a 2 day course.
So glad I decided to pay the extra and go on to do the advanced, cause it was really worth it.
Koh Toa, was a lovely little island. The place I was staying was so friendy, and really got to know people quickly. Most people on the island are there for the diving experience, so everyone has something in common, making it easy to chat.
Was a really knackering couple of days thou, we start at around 7 and then finish around 5/6, so I'd generally be in bed straight after dinner. Plus when you do the PADI course you get 50% off of the room rate. Which was cool, they were really nice rooms, with your toilet/shower and telly.
