The bus driver on the way to Ilha grande was an absolute maniac which didn't help caz as she was still feeling sick from the x burger the previous night. We got to angra (where the port is to get to Ilha grande) and the heavens opened. We had to wait about half hour to get on the boat and the captain struggled to get caz's suitcase on the boat. The boat journey was pretty grim as you can imagine, it was overcrowded and pretty much a s*** hole which leaked the drizzly rain through the roof. As we started to get nearer the island the rain eased up and the sun started to shine through. Our hotel wasn't to far from where the boat dropped us off and it was quite nice, much like the paraty place it was more like an apartment. We dumped our bags and went for a walk along the beach. With the sun shining it was a nice place to be. So chilled out. We got some food on the beach and a few drinks as the night drew in. We went back to get ready and continued the night drinking on the beach. Dyson and Lauren were predrinking in their room as they were going out that night, we decided to keep it low key and just had a few drinks on the beach before going to bed early. The next day we woke up early and went for a wonder into the park. We discovered some beaches and some nice secludedly spots. The beaches were white sand and some of the best I'd seen. We took a dip and swum out to a rock to sit on which completely ruined another couples moment who were already there. Carrying on walking deeper into Forrest along the path we came across a fresh water pool and waterfall. We sat down and chilled there for an hour or so. There were some kids there playing tag. All but one were like little mogalies, running and jumping around all the rocks. The s*** one was obviously it and the others just kept taunting him shouting "WEEEEEEE" in the most high pitched voice they could. This kept us entertained for the duration. We took a dip and the water was so cold and refreshing. We continued the walk to the top of the mountain before trekking down it. This took up the majority day and we went back to get ready for dinner. All four of us went to a kebab restaurant that Dyson had seen. This turned out to be a massive rip off. The chicken kebab I had didn't have any chicken in it and there was problems with all the meals. We kicked off and ended up getting a bit of money off the bill which still didn't help the fact I was still starving. We left and ended up having a walk round the island. Me and Dyson dipped into a shop and bought a beer and the girls walked past the shop. We must have followed them for about ten minutes before they realised that we weren't about. When they realised we were behind them, it didn't boad well with caz that we had a beer in our hands even thou there was shops all around. It was a bit frosty for a while and we found a reggae singer in the square. By this time caz was annoyed and stormed off. I waited for a bit before I followed her but lost her pretty quick. I went back to the hotel and she want there. I then walked down the beach and found her walking back towards me. Turned out she'd walked the entire length of the beach to a hostel but it was closed. We sat down at a beach bar and sorted things out and continued the night on. Dyson and Lauren went to bed. We went back to the reggae, hung out with some hippies before sitting round a fire and chilling out there for a while. I'm pretty sure caz still wasn't completely ok with me as she seemed to go out of her way to introduce herself to every single lad there, even kissed the little 14 year old locals. This one pretty boy with a guitar took a shine to her I think and let her play with his guitar. He asked for a cigarette and I said no, as well ad being a d*** in actually only had 2 left which is fair enough I think. In return he took the guitar off caz like a spooky baby. We both laughed at him and took the piss then we finally seemed to be ok. As the sun stared to come up we decided it was time for bed. Next morning we woke up at about one pm and our boat back was at 1.50. Hanging out of our arses we quickly packed and headed to the dock where the other two were waiting. The boat back was a lot better this time and we just sat in the front of the boat. When we got back to angra it was well windy. The boat kept blowing away from the dock and I could just see caz's overly heavy case being dropped in the sea which is exactly what I didn't need! Luckily it didn't and the bus was ready to take us to rio, we got on and died for the next two hours.
