We got to La Paz at about half fourish after our 3 hour minibus ride from Copacabana. Knowing La Paz we walked from the bus stop to Loki hostel, checked in and hit the bar. It was pretty dead so we just got a few beers and a bite to eat before heading up for a shower. We went back down to the bar as it was filling up for happy hour. RUM TIME before hitting Wildrover. Our past experience had told us wildrover had a bit more crack about it and it didn't disappoint. It was a lot busier and had a lot better vibe in there. We spent the majority of the night playing pool with an American couple, one of whom claimed he used to be in the crips! The happy hour at Wildrover started after the Loki one so two hours of rum happiness and the night was good. Next morning I felt pretty dead, we took a wonder round the town trying to find tour agencies to book a jungle tour which was hard work. The altitude really makes a hangover so much worse. The following day we booked our tour and after all the research we did the day before we ended up booking it through Loki anyways. We checked our tab and as always it was more than we expected. Due to this and the cost of the tour we just chilled during the evening, not even wanting to go in the bar due to the temptation. We had to be up at 6.30 the following day anyways so an early night was necessary. The following day all went to plan. We got to the airport early and relaxed as we got ready to board.
