Our Australian Adventure 2012
After lunch we decided to drive out to Port Douglas, about 70 klicks. On our way we stopped at a lookout on a windy and took this pic of Ellis Bay. What made this spot interesting is the fact that the steep rock face provided quite an updraft for the wind and this spot is used as a launching point for hand gliding. If you look closely, you can see the red ribbon that shows the wind direction.
