Not much to report today. We passed many signs like this one. I guess they are like deer in Quispamsis. Saw many road kills too, including some snakes.
Today was a long one, over 800 km and it took us over 10 hours to get to Sarina. It was hard to make up time because of all the road construction. Tomorrow will be like today. We are trying to get south of Brisbane ASAP so we can spend a few days exploring between the Gold Coast and Sydney before we're due in the Blue Mountains for Sunday night, Feb 26 and then Sydney for a week on Feb 28 before we leave for home. Hard to believe we are leaving for home 2 weeks from tomorrow.
BTW, the average temperature today was 32. I think we are getting acclimatised because we didn't find it hot at all and we went to supper at a casino and found it very chilly there as they had the air conditioning on and set to 28. We're afraid when we get home we may freeze to death ;)
Good Night, Mates.
