We arrived at Airlie Beach. Staying at Marina Shores, we have a 2 bedroom apartment; just beautiful. Here is a view of the marina from our deck.

Good Monday morning. It's 10:30 and we left Rockhampton about 8 and stopped here for breakfast. We are miles from nowhere on our way to Airlie Beach.

Bats, thousands of bats. If you look close you can see them roosting in the tree. We had seen them all fly over our room the past 2 nights, but didn't know where they came from. The locals call them flying fixes.
