So I'm in London. Finally.
After a very short flight from Stuttgart (and the most delicious snack on board, consisting of a sausage, a pickle, some sesame-cookies and potatosalad...) I landed safely at Heathrow...never minding the shaking of the plane while landing, small Fokker being small. :)
Änna awaited me at the exit which I reached after miles and miles of endless corridors. Seriously it took me about 15 minutes to reach my baggage reclaim! WTF?
We lit a cigarette, enjoyed the reunion and then took the subway to Kings Cross. The studentdorm is just a 4-minute-walk from the station and I had the joy to meet one of Ännas' roommates in front of the building, Disha, a nice girl from India.
We just threw my rucksack in the small sleeping room before heading to Sainsbury's for some food since we were both starving! I discovered Mars milk which I definetly have to try in my week here and in general I was overhelmed by...everything! I could have bought myselve to death in there!
Back at the dorm Änna cooked a quite simple but OH SO DELICIOUS meal out of potatos, spinach, eggplants and some spices, served with greek yogurt. Yumme! Duing the cooking I met one of her other roommates, the very British Isaac who's dealing with an essay right now. Poor guy.
We poured ourselves some cider and are now about to plan how to spend tomorrow. :)
Everything fine so far.
P.S.: Bag was 19,6 kg. YEAH ME! :D
