We started for a roadtrip again!
This time we drove through the everglades to Naples. The way through the National Park alone was awesome but when we arrived at Naples we found the most beautiful beach with the most perfect sand.
Since it was the 4th of July literally everybody was spending his/her time with the family at the beach, enjoying the sun and the good weather.
We made a short trip around the town before we wanted to chill out in the sun...yeah...we thought so. Not an hour after we spreaded our towls in the sand there was an enormous thunderstorm draining everything in water.
There was no sence in waiting it out so we picked up some coffee at Starbucks before heading home via the highway in the most epic rain.
Back home in Miami we waited for the bad weather to pass, then went to the beach to enjoy the fireworks in the evening.
Since America sucks when it comes to alcohol we smuggled our beer through the police barrier in some innocent-looking coca-cola cups. Yay us!
The firework was pretty amazing and the whole atmosphere very relaxed and pleasant.
Our last two days were spend at the beach, tanning some more.
Yesterday we had dinner at Hooters at Bayside after some shopping (BOOBS!) and today we strolled down Lincoln Road after some yumme sushi.
We enjoyed the ocean a last time with some to-go cocktails from Wet Willys' and watched a thunderstorm on the sea (luckily it didn't reached us but drifted farther away)-
Now since we already packed our bags for tomorrow (hopefully they are not too heavy with all the stuff we bought....) we will drink some more beers and do some nice talking. :D
It was an awesome time here and I hope that I'll get the chance to return to the US to see more of this amazing country.
Hopefully we'll catch our flight tomorrow in time and arrive back in Germany on sunday.
Looking forward to see everybody again!
(...and I also hope I didn't bother you too much with my pointless blog entries.)
Love you all!
