The South America Journey
Soooo after a day of getting things done,, buquebus ticket booked, phone sorted etc Martha and I went to visit some friends of her family.
Let me just describe the house,,,, it was origionally a carriage house, which was linked up to the palace a few hundred feet away. Beautiful mix of old and new, wrought iron gates seperated the living room from the dining room ,, and the high ceiling were made of the old, sloping wooden beams. Next, the laundry room was actually located in the stables. The individual stables were all still there, and the feeding buckets which were mounted on the wall had hay in them! It was an eclectic, tasteful mix of old and new.
The meal was a delicious argentinian asado, complete with freddo ice cream to finish. yum.
