Today was definitely the start of the Festival of the Belly. We began by a trip to the Lighthouse of Cape Naturaliste. The day began with Larisa's mum feeding us the best English breakfast I have had in a long time. It was then the trip to Freo to pickup the hire car. The plane left Sydney late. The reason was because they discovered one of the engines had no oil in it after we had already boarded. Someone obviously forgot to check the dipstick. Finally away. An easy flight as far as 5 hours stuck in a chair goes. Landing not so easy. Gail force winds in Perth. I wasn't the only one holding on with my eyes shut. But all is well. Laris was waiting and we rushed to MIkey's for the Swans game. How good was it!!! Cheer cheer.

Made it to the airport for our little holiday. Standing in the baggage queue at Virgin and the husband notices a familiar ex AFL face. After some brain storming he came up with the name …. Fraser Gehrig. Not that interesting until he ends up sitting next to us on the plane. The husband can never again complain about his legs being too long for economy. So…. After the big rap on the weather, we spent Friday looking for the sun and being cold. But at least there was no rain to ruin our day.
