After juggling my back pack because of my extremely red shoulders, we arrived in Phuket dock, once again met by English speaking Thai's trying to send you on your way, managed to get a minibus over to Ao Karon Bay. Then had the task of finding a guesthouse in the heat, did I mention the heat already! Found a very cheap and equally as attractive room as the last one, just off the main road. After a lovely 12hr night bus, with a lad sat behind us treating the whole bus to his best collection of soft rock, we arrived at 8am at Krabi bus station. Back on our way again! After a hellishly long journey, and 6hours sat in Amsterdam airport (the idea was to go for a walk around but torrential rain put a stop to that. 14 hr bus journey and our last night bus, Done! Santa cruz is hot hot hot, 30 degrees or there abouts. We are staying in amazing hostal (Jodanga) with its own pool. So between sunbathing and swimming we have managed to drag ourselves away into the centre for an explore but too hot to be away from the pool for long!
