Hello from Singapore !!! The start of a very long adventure! Staying at Dragons inn hostel, intresting !!! 10 people in dorm and asian showers and toilets uch a fi !

Have done lots of sightseeing here.Accidently found street Market celebrating new moon. Lots of buddah's worshiping. visited temple - lots of insence and fresh fruit and men in white robes! Then to Bugis street Market - biggest in Singapore. Lots of cheap clothing and gadjets. Got new watch for my travels for S$5 experienced a huge shopping mall called Bugis junction where there were lots of xmas lights and big trees

Went t o art musuem showing local art. Mostly Media Art. Walked to Raffles using our FREE map. Beautiful white buildings with palm trees and tropical flowers, watched two weddings!!! went to afternoon tea (Thanks Mum) very posh - waiters pulled out seats and filled tea when ever we drank some!! I had 7 cups ! lots to catch up on !!! Open Buffet so we went up again and again and again under the impression that we will be starved during our trip through thailand and Malaysia. Went to Bar in Raffles and had Singapore Sling !

Walked down to Marina and went on Singapore Flyer (like London eye) during sun set !!!Went to Irish bar to watch Wales v Oz match but not on !! got free drinks anyway for turning up in our welsh shirts.

Made dodgey change of money with lady in Bugis Market !!! need U.S dollars to make loacal payment ready for 'Colours of Asia' trip. In evening met group and went to little india restaurant for nice food! Hotel much nicer than previous and group very friendly.
