sandra david hello ruth its SO good to see your blog, as I was there with francesca gibbs...i am wonderfing if you managed to give the package of letters and magazines that i gave sophie for you to give out from me? one to sunil, the deputy head, one to the housemother, one to the girls and one to the boys?
Sophie (SL Volunteers Project Manager) Sandra- I took care of the packages don't worry! :) Ruth- it sounds like you and Lien are very quickly understanding the level of education these kids have had up to now- and it's really fantastic that you are reflecting and reacting to what level their English is and going from there. Keep doing what you're doing. We at SL Vols are very proud and are looking forward to more updates of your development with the students.

sandra david hello ruth lovely reading your blog and knowing you are at mahawewa, where i was last oct/nov...i really loved my time there so much! pls can you tell me if the children in grades 7-10 did recieve my letters that i wrote to them, one for the girlsd and one for the boys and please can u ask prema, the housemother if she got my letter too? how are the children in grades 7-10? am missing them very much..is samanthi, the deaf housemother still there? have a lovely weekend and look forward to hearing back from you x

sandra david hello ruth, i am sandra david and i was there with francesca gibbs last oct and nov....i really loved my time there and am now missing them so very much...the children are lovely and desperate for meaningful conversation...so they will be happy to have you signing away with them.. enjoy x
