Hola
My first blog entry so i´d better make it interesting!
Had the longest trip of my life getting here, but was well looked after by Americans (i.e fed food till it was coming out my eye balls) but managed to sleep for most of it. When i got to Puerto Vallarta with the other 50 million yankies i realised this might be more of a holiday than i thought it would be, just a shame i cant share it with my firends!
Was picked up from the airport by a girl who looked 12 yrs old but was actually 21 and drove like a maniac, she took me to her mum´s house and gave me food (obvously looked like i needed feeding!) Then onto the appartment where there were 5 ladies sitting around who made me tea and told me abou thte refuge so made me feel at home! (I was so nervous on my flight over that id have no one to talk to or hang out with!) My bed choice was a top bunk with the mossies or a sofa and as i´d been sleeping bunched up on a plane for 20 hrs thought i´d take the sofa! Found out that the agency hadn{t told anyone i was coming but they are grateful for the help so isn{t too big a deal!
Spent today being showerd around by a 60 yr old lady called Beverly who is so mad and funny and full of life and the most friendly out of the bunch. She´s left to go to the refuge so i´ve now got to find my way back to the appartment which is on the same street as Woolworths?!?!??!
So tomorrow i start at the refuge looking after some tiny tots, there´s a 3 month old baby there so i´ve been asked to help look after him. I´m intrigued to see what the centre´s like after hearing lots about it.
Hope that wasn´t too boring!
Will be back spoon, Adios xxxxx
