So our world tour finally started once we landed in the busling city of bangkok. On arrival you could feel the heat on your face. Bubba and I seemed so out of place, reminded me of the film "Lost in translation". everywall had some reference to "The King" he is like the most loved man in this country, its really breathtaking seeing his face everywhere. We managed to get a taxi after a little wait, even though the sky was grey it was around the 103degree mark, the humidity is ridiculous! hrd to breathe, once in the taxi we started to realise why one the slogans here is "Everything goes in Bangkok, except the traffic" its some of the worst traffic in the world, people wearing the white masks you see on T.V because of all the fumes. The taxi ride took about 30 mins, but every few seconds bubba would grab my arm or i would grab hers as one of us has seen something truly fascinating, it was liek being on another planet! I was in complete awe the whole trip. Once we finally arrived at the hotel we realised that we made the right choice in the booking, its was truly awesome! we arrived around 5:30pm and went down for a complimentary drink in the bar, after our long trip it was well deserved. We decided to stay in that night and eat in the hotel restuarant, we had mexican food!
