Safe so it's been about a month that I've been living in Salvador. My portuguese is coming along the weather has got extremely sick, ie sunny everyday, the best part is it's still winter. A rast surf instructor tried to tell me that he felt cold yesterday as he walked from his surf shop to the beach in his boardies (in the blaring sunshine) - I was sweating. safe, been about a week since my last entry and quite a lot of interesting stuff has happened. Went to the beach via the Gamboa favela and basically had chats with sum 8 yr old kids who were smoking crack, pretty sad story. found a rugby team so thats all jokes and I've started to surf 2 mornings a week, done the first week and already catching waves and standing up etc... very jokes. Rugby was hilarious and I think theyve invited me to play for Bahia and Sao Pa...

Safe, first day at the beache and I have to say it was SICK. In fact very very sick. Met up with sum brazilian couch surfers, one from denmark who seemed like a joker and well chilled on the beach and had a good time. The weather is amazing. So my second day in Salvador and I love this place. The weather is great and so are the people, I've got capoeira on my doorstep and I feel like I'm living in a tree house. Shopping for food is not a boring at all. We live by a market so there's loads of cool tropical fruit and veg that I'm trying out.
