I am NOT an athlete. Just a normal (fairly round) girl who loves to run. I also love Scotland, wide open spaces and a bit of solitude. I'm hoping to get some of these this week while running the great glen way.
Having never done anything like this before packing is proving to be a bit of a nightmare. What to take??
I have a running rucksack and also a bag which will be transported between my B&B's.
I obviously have clothes etc in the bigger bag but I'll also be taking food. Most places say they cater for vegans but often what this means is we'll just remove the protein. This means uninspired and nutritionally unbalanced meals. I need to be sure I can fuel myself properly.
I have 2 pairs of trainers. One for trails and one for roads. Both are Hoka. I have running clothes, waterproofs, running poles, head torch, midge spray, . . . . . . On and on.
