The best way to keep up with the cases is to go through my photos and look at the case numbers then you can see the recovery right in front of you! Had some very interesting cases in today. The first one was a dog with a mangled front paw. The second was a dog with a huge wound on the back of its head. And the third was another dog with a totally obliterated front paw. The dog with neurological problems is suspected to have Rabies so no one is allowed in with it. Had an interesting day at the sanctuary. 2 new cases. One dog with some sort of mass on its eye and another dog with what looks like a brain dysfunction. Today was really good! We only stayed till 1pm so we could explore Udaipur a bit. We had lots of new cases, including a gorgeous young female dog that I have nicknamed Blondie. We're not quite sure what happened to her but she is totally missing the 2 middle toes from hear front right leg. The wound is very sore but she was good as gold when we cleaned it. Had another amazing second day! I was in the maggot wound section again. The wounds from yesterday look so much better. The dog that we thought had no eye because his wound was so deep surprised us today as we saw a healthy sparkling eyeball amongst the mess! Sadly both the new cases that came in today had to be put to sleep. One had a massive head wound that had gone through to his brain and the other was totally emaciated and very weak.
