A number of topics to talk about so all in order:

SHOPPING!! Good god this place is like retail heaven - personally feel like a stranger in this situation after nate's attempts to stop my spending but wow I've exploded...Orchard Road is THE place for shopping - imagine an Oxford St but with malls 10x the sie of Selfridges all lined up next to each other...that's what this place is like. You can't move for malls. Its the Vegas of shopping!!Shopping is a National SPort here and that's not exaggeration. People come here to buy clothes in order to wear them while going shopping for yet more clothes...

EATING - if a building isn't a mall well then its dedicated to the fab food you can get here. They love their food but I'm yet to see a fat person - all the women and gorgeous and soooooo thin...

CARS - every other car is a 7 series BMW long wheel base -they're as common as Ford's back home.And they are mainly driven by women!! COME ONE

HEAT - ridiculously hot Subject closed!

THE RAIN - as its so hot you inevitably have rain...funniest moment - got caught in torrential downpour while visiting the botanical garden (which are gorg). We hing under cover for about 30 mins but then realised if we didn't move we were goijng to miss out coach back to the hoste. So we set off in the rain... thought it was funny to be in the rain, drenched to the skin but that feeling stopped when it started to become an electrical storm - heaps of lightning and buckets of water ain't a good thing...so nate and I had to take off our shoes and run like Forrest Gump...finally made it back to base all clothes saturated!!

SHOPPING - did I mention they love it??

ELECTONICS - this is THE place for such items - bought a fab LG mini portable DVD player, white with swivel head and all the latest gear to download photos etc...Bargain price of 120 quid ...great for keeping us entertained on long coach journeys etc...
