Thursday 14th January

Today the slopes were -9 today but very foggy at the summit, which makes it horrible to ski/ride. Today I almost manage to conquer the pivot turns! I fell on my knee directly which hurt ALOT! My new best friend for the week has been deep heat!

Lucie hurt her wrist today so we stopped early at 2.30pm.

I have set up a Canadian bank account now so I can transfer any money I do not have!

Tonight was supposed to be the pub quiz but it never happened for some reason but instead had a good evening in the bar downstairs. Everyone went to Caribou for the evening, but Ali and me didn't have the strength to so went to bed at 10pm

Friday 15th January

(This whole weekend seemed to be in a bit of a blur!)

Woke up today and I felt slightly sick, I decided that I didn't fancy being sick on the mountain so stayed at home.

I managed to eat some lunch and felt alot better, I think it was a 24hour bug thing.

When everyone got home, we all got washed and dressed went down to the bar for our mentor meeting (basically our first ski/boarding group) We have Eric and Ali.

I started to get a bit freaked out about my level 1 exam which is in 3 weeks time.

Tonight was also steak night, the record apparently is 7. We had to wait till 6:45 to get in line, but by the time I got there it was 8 nearly and I looked like a stick insect! Everyone thought I was a murderer for asking for well done. After eating my steak within 5 minutes, which was lush! We 'checked' out the bar to see what people were wearing as it was our first theme party. Helmets and thermals. Seeing everyone had got dressed up, Ali and I returned to the room to get properly suited up and joined everyone downstairs!

I got so hammered I actual forgot what happened part way through the night. I fell asleep in the TV room as I couldn't actually managed to get to my room!

Saturday 16th January

I woke up today at 7am completely hammered still as I went to bed at 4am. Stumbled back to my room and dodgyly climbed into bed. Woke up at 9am as I promised Amy to meet her at breakfast for 9:30am. We were going to go out but after much room spinning I decided I wasn't fit to go and I didn't want to wipe out little children at the ski school, as weekends are VERY busy compared to mid-week skiing.

Instead we got a bus into town, possibly the worse idea ever! I had to suffer through the drunk-sobering up-hangover! It was possibly the most single painful thing ever!

Got home to dinner and then sat in the bar, Ali is already calling me and alcoholic! Everyone went to Caribou but I stayed at home to recover and chill out.

Sunday 17th January

Today Ali and Amy went riding/skiing, I chose to stay at home and chill out and recover from Friday!

Once everyone got home we chilled in the bar and played some cards and went to bed at a resonable time for Monday.
