Leaving Orebic we drove to the local ferry which meant we did not have to retrace our steps. The plan was a drive north up the coast to Split where we stopped for a break, the children got down their bikes and rode then around like crazy and Rox got on with some washing. The nice day we went in to Spilt, looked at the market and picked up some food. Had a wander through the Roman palace that still remains there and also picked up some fish from the rather excellent fish market that is just by the harbour. A crowded bus journey back to the campsite followed by fried fish and other food leaving us ready to travel north the next day.
