Sunday June 28
While looking for our hotel and following the google maps directions, we some how ended up on a pedestrian/tram only road. We started getting a lot of strange looks and now I know why. That night we went for dinner at a restaurant called l`entrocote, no menu, just steak and chips, when they brought out our meal we all looked at each other like `that’s it?` as the steak was rather small, that was until they brought the large platter with the remained of our steaks and more chips than you could imagine. The sauce was amazing on the steaks too. After dinner we went back to the hotel and drank a bottle of wine that we bought in Saint Emillion in the lobby of the hotel and then went out for a couple of more bottles, just so we didn’t go to bed thirsty.

Woke up and took the car back which was sort of easy but could have been disastrous as driving in Bordeaux is very very confusing. Went on a wine tour in the afternoon which was okay but a little boring (seen one process, seen em all) The lady at the second winery was really good and kept us very entertained. Went for another good meal, but it was really hard to compare to the night before. Back to the hotel for more wine in the lobby and then we took our bottles to the park and finished off a few more there.

Woke up to surprisingly no hangover and said bye to Ollie and Ella who were on their way to live in Dublin. We jumped on our train and headed to our next destination, San Sebastian.
