May 1
Today we woke up to a rainy San Fran morning and made our way to the airport to catch our flight to Vancouver. After the first broken plane was replaced they finally found another one after a couple of hours. Turned out this one was also broken. we finally made it to Canada and they had no problems letting us through. Although to top it off there was a baggage jam and we were delayed even longer.
When we finally got out Ali was there to pick us up and take us out to jeff and leannes in Langly. We had a fun night and a little bit of wine. The next morning Morgan showed me his slapshot and we took the dog for a stroll around the park before going back to Alis place in Van. That night we went in to the city to meet up with Ross and Paula to watch the Canucks play against the Blackhawks in game 2... didn't end too well but the night was great catching up with some old friends.

May 3
Today was suppose to rain but it cleared off so we went to Steveston and walked along the boardwalk and had a nice lunch at which Ali may have found a new food allergy, we'll have to wait and see!
We decided to have a quiet night and Ali cooked us a great pork roast for diner...nice to have a home cooked meal!

Not much today, just hanging out and taking it easy.

May 5
Happy birthday Ali! While she worked we went in to the city and grabbed lunch withRoss. That night we went out for Ali's birthday dinner with her friends Piper. We went to red door and had some Asian fusion cuisine... We followed that with drinks at cafe barney and met Ali's friend Alana.

May 6
Today jeff, leanne, and Morgan picked us up and we went to meet Ross at the aquarium. Then the cool happened, paula took us into the staff area to meet the Beluga whales... I can't explain how cool it was to be able to pet them and feed them, they kinds feel like a hard boiled egg. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the aquarium before coming home to cook Ali one last dinner before we fly off to Winterpeg tomorrow.
