End of day 2 and we continued to work our way thru MO. A lot if small towns. Some so small you miss them if you blink. One town, Arlington is basically at a dead end road and consisted of one building and a couple of houses. Driving to Arlington allowed us to see the original I-44 along with the old 66 alignment. Our final stop for the day was in Lebanon MO at the Munger Moss Motel, one of the originals on the route. It has the cool neon sign that looks great at night and the outdoor swimming pool which all 3 of us enjoyed. All and all the day was a good one. A few times we missed a turn or two but eventually we got back on the old alignment. At times it is not always clearly marked so you kind of have to wing it. Ate at the elm street eatery and John ate an entire ham and cheese omelet.
