Hi everyone!

We have had a good few days in Cuzco. It is a nice city with a really nice central Plaza with a big Cathedral (pics to follow).

On our first full day here I (Rob) went white water rafting while Ros spent the day shopping! The rafting was great fun, but I was a bit dissapointed that we didn´t fall out of our boat, although we did come close!

Yesterday our whole group went up into the hills surrounding Cuzco on Motocross bikes and Quads. I rode a motocross bike which was very difficult to keep upright in some of the muddier places while Ros rode a quad. It was lots of fun and we both got covered in mud and are aching today!

Today we looked around th city and visited the Inca museum which had lots of artifacts including weopons and tools etc. There were also some really good photos of Macchu Picchu from 1912 when it was first discovered.

We wont be checking in for the next 5-6 days as tomorrow we start our trek to Macchu Picchu to see the Inca ruins, beginning with the sacred valley. The trek is around 40km in total and reaching a maximum altitude of 4200m so it will be very tiring!

Hopefully we´ll have lots of good photos to put up when we get back and we´ll also put up some pics of the rafting and biking.
