Agra - eable
Sitting on a roff in Agra, overlooking the Taj Mahal and endless rooftop scenes. A couple of young boys waving at us, a man squatting with a few goats, monkeys and their babies jumping from roof to roof. a woman shooing them away with a stick young men calling in flocks of pigeons, the sun setting over the Taj mahal, and a rainbow appears.
Agra was another busy tout crazed place. Touts almost coming to blows ver whose rickshaw we went in. Went to Agra fort, a huge walled fort, very impressive. Got talked into allowing a teacher and his students to take ictures with us, slowly nudging Ross out of the way. I think I actually look illuminous over here. Acually glowing with whiteness.
Taj Mahal in all its marbled glory, glistening in the.... rain (typical)
Kajuraho - Road side banter and tanric temples
After a long local bus journey from hell, monsoon rain soaked through, and coupling up with a guy and girl from Belgian we escaped the cities for a small village, Kajuraho.

Went to see a traditional Indian dance, which included a guy dressed up as a woman for the more provocative dance scenes. Caught up with a muslim wedding parade. The married couple at the back, surrounded by small boys holding up lights, folloed by all the women in the congregation standing behind all the men, as the men dance behind a van booming out some baselines, in front a band and an old man running a head setting off fireorks.
And then the holy erotic hindu temples. Temples famous for there rather suacy statues of various sexual scenes. Inside the temples spelt of bat piss though. Ancient porn overload!
Had some beers which wasn;t the best way to begin a tour of the shops. Hounded into ever shope there, ending up in a Kashmir shop sipping lemon tea with the ownder, a life story or two later (including photo albums) we eventually ended up hacing drinks and more beers with the owner and his assistant, inviting us to his house, offering his baby boy up for adoption (half heartedly). 3 hours later we eventually headed off with a last visit to his shop for a last sales attempt (still not interested) persistance to the max!
