Swadikaaa!!

well seeing as we have recieved so much abuse for being slack on the blog front we thought we better do another entry :)

At the moment we're in phuket..yet another thai island...full of old rich people..eg. we r actually the only people on the whole beach who lie on the sand and dont pay for a sunbed....but stil lovely and on the whole the cheapest place we've stayed. We have a room at a little guest house called sweet home and its soo lovely mostly cos its run by 3 old ladies who are actually the sweetest ever!

Well to be frank and honest (which i think we probably should be in the blog) we had slight visa issues...in that we didnt check the dates on them (cos they are ALWAYS for 1 month) but apparently its changed to 15 days..soo we were 4 days over..and had to pay a ridiculous amount to get to ranong where we had to pay even more for our overstay to the thai police...and then leave thailand...

luckily we only had to get a boat to burma and back to get our visas renewed but i wouldnt say it was our best move :(

But everythings fabulous now and we went to a ladyboy show last night, Simons Caberet, unfortunately I forgot to mention to sinead that it really involves the prettiest men you've ever seen miming to songs songs like dream girls and japanese fan dances but is taken v seriously..like going to the westend...so sinead was mildly bemused to say the least..but it was good all the same :)

Stil managing to find the energy to hit the beach everyday...good times
